Wheat kheech /khichada is rajasthani sweet made on the occasion of makar sakranti. This is made with processed wheat used for kheech .

Ingredients

  • Milk - 1.5 litres
  • 1 cup khichada wheet
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Chopped dry fruits

Instructions

  • Take 1 cup wheat used for khichada
  • Soak them overnight
  • Boil them in morning to 3 whistles. Strain them and then use.
  • Boil the milk. After one boil add the boiled wheat and let it cook on medium flame for 20- 25 minutes
  • After the milk becomes thick and reduces to 3/4 add sugar,and cook for 5 more minutes
  • Turn off the flame and garnish with dry fruits

Notes/Tips

Cook on low or medium flame so that it doesn't sticks to pan. Khichada wheat are available in market ,they are bit different from whole wheat.
