- chop the veggies finely,potato - 2 medium sized, carrot - 1/2, beans - 5 and green peas - 1/4 cup. To a mixer, add coconut,green chillies,ginger,garlic,cashew, fennel seeds, Cinnamon, cloves, cardamom. Pour 1 cup of water and grind it to a smooth paste. To a heavy bottomed pan, pour 1.5 tbsp of coconut oil and add fennel seeds,black stone flower,curry leaves,bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom. Once nice smell wafts, add all the veggies, sugar and salt. Pour 2 cups of water and cook for 5 to 6 minutes in medium flame. Now pour the grounded coconut paste. Boil for 5 minutes in low flame, till the raw smell of the coconut paste leaves.Switch off the flame, squeeze the lemon and mix well. Serve hot.
