- Wash the dal and put in the pressure cooker with enough water, add onion, tomato, haldi powder, salt, green chili, ginger,
- Oil and curry leaves and pressure cook for two to three whistles. Let the pressure release on its own
- Cook the dal on a medium flame for 5 mins. Off the flame. Serve it with jeera rice
- Then whisk the dal. Heat oil in the tadka pan when hot add jeera then add chopped garlic fry till light brown, then pour it on the dal.
