  • All purpose flour 150 gms
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Ghee 4 tbsp
  • Cardamom Powder ½ tsp
  • Khus Syrup ½ tsp
  • Fennel Seed 1 tsp
  • Greated Coconut 6 tbsp
  • Paan Leaves grinded 3
  • Mixed, Chopped and roasted dry fruits(Almond, Ca 5 tbsp
  • Cardamom Powder 1 tsp
  • Gulkand 3 tbsp
  • Thin Supari / lachha supari 1 tsp
  • Khus Syrup 1 tbsp
  • Tutti-frutti 4 tbsp
  • Gulab Katri 2 tbsp
  • Chamam bahar 1 tsp
  • Chocolate Chips 5 tbsp
  • Seasame seed As required
  • Chocolate Syrup As required

Instructions

  • In a bowl, add flour, salt, cardamom powder, khus syrup, fennel seed, and ghee. And mix it with a clean hand. Add a little water and knead as semi-tight dough. Cover it for 10minutes.
  • 2) Mix coconut, dry fruits, grinded Paan or betel leaves, cardamom, gulkand, laccha supari, khus syrup, tutti-futti, Gulab katri, Chaman Bahar, fennel seed in another bowl. Add chocolate chips.
  • Take a small portion of dough and make equal size of small balls.
  • Take a ball, start rolling. Roll out into a thin disc.
  • Put stuffing in the middle of the disc and make a nice gujiya shape.
  • Pre-heat the microwave oven at 220 degrees C for 10 – 12 minutes.
  • Brush some ghee on an oven-proof tray and place the gujiya and bake for 12minutes at 180 degrees C.
  • Take out the tray and brush ghee and sprinkle seasame seed on the top of gujiyas and bake for another 2 – 3minutes. Decorate with chocolate syrup and paan leaves.

Notes/Tips

Small dumplings packed with mouth-water paan masala, dry-fruits, and chocolate fusion flavor. I simply love it. I try to make some healthy and delicious twist of the most popular dessert recipe.
