Healthy recipe which uses ripe bananas, made with whole wheat flour and goodness Almonds. Less sugar is used as The banana has natural sugars. It's eggfree and yummy. Good for all ages.

Banana Roasted Almonds Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Whole wheat flour
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 TSP baking powder
  • 1/2 TSP baking soda
  • 1/4 cup roasted almonds and choco chips
  • 1 TSP vanilla essence
  • Water as required for consistency

Instructions

  • Seive all the following together flour, baking powder and soda. keep aside.
  • Mash bananas, add brown Sugar and oil to it and beat well.
  • Add essence. Fold in flour mixture and mix well.
  • If required add milk or water.
  • In the end Add roasted almonds and choco Chips mixed with 1 tbsp dry flour
  • Pour in a greased and dusted tray and bake in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees C for 25-30 Mins.

Notes/Tips

Perfect Healthy recipe for kids and elders. Tastes great topped with chocolate sauce and ice cream. You can replace almonds with walnuts.
