Ingredients

  • Semolina 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Whisked curd 1 cup
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Melted butter 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
  • Butter To grease tin
  • All purpose flour To sprinkle in tin
  • Cashewnut 15
  • For sugar syrup water 1 cup
  • Sugar 3/4 cup
  • Cinnamon 1 piece
  • Rose essence 2 tsp

Instructions

  • Take a glass jar,add 1 cup semolina,1 cup sugar,1 TSP baking powder and quick mix
  • Add 1 cup whisked curd,1/2 cup of milk and mix dry and wet ingredients with 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • Now add 1/2 TSP vanilla essence mix it.let it sit for 5 min
  • Take a cake tin,grease it with little butter and dust with liitle all purpose flour and coat the tin with the flour
  • Pour the mixed batter into cake tin
  • Preheat the oven for 15 min at 180 degree .bake for 45 min at 180 degree
  • For sugar syrup mix the ingredients of sugar syrup and boil for five minutes then let it come to room temp
  • Pour this syrup on cake and let it sit for 1 hr
  • Garnish cake with cashewnut

U can garnish cake with almonds too
