Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken 500gms
  • Salt As per Taste
  • Black pepper A pinch
  • Red chilli powder 1tbsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste 1tbsp
  • Green chilli paste 1tbsp
  • Vinegar 1tbsp
  • Oil+ghee 2tbsp each
  • Jeera 1tbsp
  • Finely chopped onion 5-6
  • Turmeric ¹/2 tbsp
  • Ginger-Garlic paste 1tbsp
  • Red chilli paste 3tbsp
  • Garam masala 1tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1tbsp
  • Jeera powder 1tbsp
  • Salt As per taste
  • Red chilli powder 1tbsp
  • Tomato puree 3 tomatoes
  • Black pepper powder 1tbsp
  • Fresh coriander chopped
  • Cashew paste 4tbsp
  • Beated curd 4tbsp
  • Water As required
  • Kasuri methi
  • Green chilli 3-4 (diognaly sliced)
  • Fresh coriander
  • Lemon juice 1tbsp

Instructions

  • For chicken Wash The chicken well and cut them in small pieces .
  • Transfer the chicken into a mixing bowl and add salt, black pepper Powder, Ginger-Garlic Paste ,Vinegar, red chilli powder and mix well.
  • Set a big size kadai , add oil and Ghee, let Jeera Splutter .
  • Further add onion and salt and cook on medium flame untill the onion turn golden Brown. Add turmeric, red chilli Powder and the powdered spices along with Ginger garlic paste. Add some water so that spices do not burn.
  • Low down the Heat and let it cook, if the masala gets too dry, add some water to it .
  • Keep on low heat and add cashew paste and Dahi, stir Continuously. After a few minutes add tomato puree and red chilli paste. Let it cook on low flame for 15mins
  • Put the marinated chicken in the gravy and cook on high flame untill the chicken takes its Shape. Further cook on medium Flame Untill the chicken is cooked and tender.
  • Add water and cook on low flame for few more minutes. Add garam masala, kasuri Methi and green chillies and cook for 1-2 minutes
  • Finally add coriander leaves and lemon juice
  • BHUNA CHICKEN is ready , serve it with laccha paratha or tandoori roti and green chutney

Avoid Burning the masalas!
