Ingredients

  • Melted white chocolate 1/2 cup
  • Butter 1/4 cup
  • Almond flour 1/2 cup
  • Refined flour 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tso
  • Powdered sugar 1/4 cup
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Milk As required

Instructions

  • Take butter and sugar in a bowl. Beat them for approx 3-4 minutes or until it turns lighter in colour.
  • Sieve Refined flour, almond flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  • Add melted white chocolate and vanilla essence to butter and Sugar mix.
  • Now add the dry mix to the liquid mix by cut and fold method. And add milk to the batter as required. (Batter should be of ribbon consistency).
  • Grease the mould with butter. And add butter paper.
  • Pour the batter in the mould. And tap it properly.
  • Bake in microwave for 20-25 mins. At 180°c .
  • Or, use kadai instead. Cover the surface of the kadai with salt, keep a stand and Preheat for 2 minutes at low flame. Now place the mould on the stand cover the kadai and bake it for approx 25-30 minutes, at low flame.
  • Once it is baked, let it cool down. Garnish it with caramel syrup and serve..

Notes/Tips

1) if you are not good at handling white chocolate use microwave. If you are using double boiler, add some butter and milk to the chocolate, it prevents it from burning. 2) if you don't have almond flour, just powder the almonds and use it. 3) use all the ingredients at room temperature. 4) if you are using pressure cooker remove it's whistle.
