Ingredients

  • Rolled Oats 1 Cup
  • Sliced Almonds 1/4 cup
  • Sunflower Seeds 1/4 Cup
  • Seasame Seeds 2 tbsp
  • Puffed Rice 2 Cups
  • Cranberries 1/2 Cup
  • Golden raisins 1/2 Cup
  • Almond butter 1/2 cup
  • Honey 1/4 CUp
  • Sea salt 1 pinch
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180*C. Spread the oats, almonds, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds on the baking sheet and bake, stirring halfway through, until they are lightly toasted, about 30 minutes.
  • Transfer the oat mixture to a large bowl and add the puffed rice, cranberries and raisins or figs. Toss to combine.
  • In a small saucepan, over medium heat, stir together the almond butter, honey, vanilla and salt and cook until it bubbles. Add the hot mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  • Lightly oil an 8-inch square baking dish or line it with parchment paper. Spoon the batter into the dish and press it down firmly.
  • Refrigerate the slab until firm, about 3 hours. Cut into 12 portions. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
