Ingredients

  • 250 GMs Button Mushrooms
  • 4 tbs gram flour
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 ginger
  • 3- cloves of garlic
  • 3- green chilies
  • 250 ml oil for frying

Instructions

  • Take 250 gm of white button mushrooms. Clean and wash them and keep aside for drying
  • To prepare a batter, take 4tbs of gram flour add 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/4 tsp chat masala and salt to taste
  • Take 1/2 inch ginger , 3 cloves of garlic, and 2-3 green chilli you can add more chilli as per your taste. Grind them into coarse paste and add into the batter. The batter consistency should not be too thick or too thin.
  • Now prick the washed mushrooms and marinate into the batter for about 15-20 minutes to coat the marinade.
  • Heat a pan, add oil into the pan. Now fry all the mushrooms while keeping the flame low to medium
  • Finally the mushrooms pakoda can be served with coriander and green chilli chutney

Notes/Tips

Batter shouldn’t too thick or too runny.
