Choco Vanilla Layered Blancmange

Ingredients

  • Condensed milk 400 gms
  • Water 3 cups
  • Corn Flour 6 tbsp
  • Dark chocolate 40 gms
  • Vanilla essence 2 tsp

Instructions

  • Mix condensed milk with water and blend well. Divide this mixture into two halves.
  • For vanilla layer: Mix 3tbsp corn flour with little water make a paste. Bring half of the diluted condensed milk mixture, prepared in step 1 to boil, add the corn flour mixture and cook on a low flame, till thick. Keep stirring all the time.
  • Remove from flame and add vanilla essence. Divide the mixture into 4 stemmed glasses and allow to set in the fridge.
  • For chocolate layer: Blend remaining 3tbsp corn flour with little water to more a paste. Bring the remaining diluted condensed milk mixture to boil, add the corn flour mixture and cook on a low flame,stirring all the time.
  • Add the pieces of the dark chocolate into this hot mixture and stir until the chocolate melts. Cool the mixture and spoon into the glasses over the Vanilla layer. Smoothen the top and set in the fridge.
  • For garnishing add some white chocolate or chocolate curls or colorful sprinklers, served chilled.
