Ingredients

  • Fresh cream 200 mL
  • Cocoa powder 1/2 cup+2 tbsps
  • Cator sugar 1 cup
  • Milk 1.5 cups
  • Chopped Dark chocolate 100 g
  • Cornflour 1 tbsp
  • Chopped walnuts 1/2 cup
  • Sea salt(optional) As required for garnishing
  • Brownie Bites(optional) For garnishing
  • Digestive biscuits 10-12
  • Butter 50 g+3 tbsps
  • Mixed fruit Jam(optional) 2 tbsps
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  • Take a heavy bottom saucepan and put it to low heat. Add fresh cream to it.
  • Add castor sugar to it and let the sugar completely melt.
  • Add the cocoa powder to it and mix properly using a whisk.
  • Add the butter to it and let the butter melt.
  • Add milk to it, save 2 tbsps milk for later.
  • Add the chopped chocholates in the milk mixture and let it melt on low heat.
  • Mix cornflour and 2 tbsps milk in a bowl and add it to the milk mixture.
  • Let the pudding come to a boil and thicken
  • You can add jam for a tangy taste which I like very much in chocholate desserts. Just mix the jam with a little water, you can blend it in an electric mixer if you want, make a paste out of It and add it to the pudding once its thickened.
  • Mix properly, Take off the heat and let it cool
  • While the pudding is cooling, make the biscuit base. Take a electric mixer and add the biscuits and 3 tbsps melted butter to it. Mix them together till they achieve a crumbly texture.
  • Take a glass of your choice. Add the biscuit and butter mixture to the Base and Pour chocolate pudding over It.
  • Garnish it with chopped walnuts, sea salt and brownie bite on the top.
  • Cool the pudding in the fridge for 2-3 hours and the serve. You can also serve it hot.

Notes/Tips

1. Use good quality dark chocolate 2. Don't add the cornflour without mixing it in milk and making a Slurry otherwise it will form lumps 3. Let the the sugar completely melt otherwise it will give a unwanted crunchy taste to the pudding
