  • Butter 1 teaspoons
  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoons
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoons
  • Finely chopped green chillies 1 teaspoons
  • Curry leaves few units
  • Hung curd 1/2 cup
  • Boiled masoor dal 1/2 cup
  • Boiled rice 1 cup
  • Water 1 cup

Instructions

  • Heat butter in pan, add cumin seeds, curry leaves saute for 1 minute.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt, & green chilli, cook for 1 minute.
  • Now add boiled rice & masoor daal.
  • Add water & hung curd, mix it well & cook on medium flame until desire khichdi consistency.
  • Serve with papad, achar & dahi.
