- Heat together milk, water and butter. When the butter is melted, remove from flame and let it come to warm temperature.
- In a bowl mix together flour, instant yeast, sugar and salt. Add the warm milk mixture and knead to form a soft dough.
- Transfer the dough to counter and knead for 10 minutes until the dough is smooth, soft and elastic. Oil a bowl, place the dough inside and rotate to coat it evenly with oil.
- Cover with cling wrap and set aside for 60 minutes, or until double. Take half of quartered portion of the dough and roll into a 12 inch rope, fold it. Place on greased cookie sheets and proof until doubled in size for about 30 minutes.
- Brush each roll with milk. Now sprinkle rolls with dried herbs. Place on a greased cookie sheet atleast 2-3 inches apart and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degree for 15-17 mts or till golden.
- Remove from sheet and cool on a wire rack. Make 2 rolls from quarter portion of basic bread dough recipe. Serve them with butter or dips
