- Take a Bowl with a seive placed above it. Add in Maida, Sugar, Cocoa Powder, Baking Powder and soda.
- Sieve the mixture to get rid of lumps.
- After passing it through sieve, mix the dry Ingredients well and set aside. In another bowl, add curd and beat well for a minute.
- Then add in oil and vanilla+chocolate essence into the mix and incorporate well.
- Now add half of the Dry Mix into the curd mixture and mix well. T
- Then add the rest and mix till it forms cake like consistency.
- Do not over mix. Now, pour the batter into pregreased Cake Tin.
- Sprinkle the batter with almonds/walnuts/tutti fruti or chocolate chips. Bake it in a pre heated oven for 30 to 35 minutes at 180°c on middle rack.
- Check with a toothpick after 30 minutes.
- Let the cake cool for 10 to 20 minutes before taking out of the mould.
- Serve Hot with Vanilla Ice-cream! Enjoy!
