Grilled Cottage Cheese Steak With Mango Salsa

Ingredients

  • Raw Mango 1 small
  • Ripe Mango 1 medium/big
  • Onion 1 small
  • Coriander a handful
  • Green Chilli 1
  • Salt 2 pinches
  • Red Chilli powder 0.25 tsp
  • Roasted Cumin Powder 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder 0.5 tsp
  • Black Salt 0.5 tsp
  • Cottage Cheese 100 g

Instructions

  • Peel and Dice Raw mango, 1/2 Ripe mango, Chop the onions, Green Chilli, Coriander and add it to a mixer and using the pulse mode make a chunky paste. Do not fully grind it
  • Add the other half of diced ripe mango to this mixture and add all the spices and salt mentioned. Black Pepper, Red chilli powder, black salt, cumin powder. You can add a little jaggery powder if its too tangy.
  • Mango Salsa is Ready, Cut the cottage cheese into squares and grill it until nicely browned on both sides. Serve it With Mango Salsa.

Notes/Tips

Make sure to taste the salsa if it needs additional sweetness. Do not grill the cottage cheese for a long time as it'll harden from within. You can pair this mango salsa with sandwiches, burgers etc. You can add bell peppers of your choice to the salsa too
