Ingredients

  • Urad daal 1 cup
  • Rice 3 tablespoons
  • Cornflour 2 tablespoons
  • Whole sugar 1 cup
  • Water 1.5 cup
  • Cardamom powder 2 teaspoons
  • Saffron steings 3 pinch
  • Yellow food liquid color 2 pinch
  • Oil 2 cup

Instructions

  • Soak urad daal and rice for two hrs
  • Wash and drain it ,keep urad daal and rice in refrigerator for half hour
  • Now grind it in mixy to a smooth paste by adding 2 TSP water
  • Now to this batter add cornflour
  • Mix all with baloon whisk leave it aside covered for fermentation for half hr
  • Now mean while make sugar syrup of one string with whole sugar and water cardamom powder and saffron strings
  • Now with baloon whisk mix entire batter to make it fluffy after half hr
  • Add yellow liquid food color to batter
  • Fill this batter in piping bag
  • Make imartis in hot medium oil deep fry it till golden
  • Immediately soak it in hot sugar syrup for five minutes
  • Serve hot

Notes/Tips

U can add orange liquid food color instead of yellow
