Instant Gajar halwa

Ingredients

  • Carrots 1 kg grated
  • Milk 250 ml
  • Ghee 150 gms
  • Khoya 50 gms crumbled
  • Sugar 150gms
  • Almond 10-12 chopped
  • Cashew 10-12 broken
  • Raisins A few
  • Pistachio 10-12 slivered
  • Fresh cream 30 ml

Instructions

  • Take a pressure cooker and add grared carrots and milk.
  • Cover the lid and cook till 1 Whistle on medium heat. Open the lid and turn the flame high.
  • Add Cream, ghee and sugar to it and let it cook till all the fluid gets absorbed.
  • Now take some ghee in a pan and fry alp the dry fruits except raisins and add to the halwa.
  • Before finishing add the crumbled khoya to it and gently mix.
  • Serve hot and enjoy the winters without much hustle šŸ˜‰

Notes/Tips

Do not cook the carrots on high heat when u pressure cook them we just need them half done so that it will take less time on open flame.
