  • Jackfruit small 1
  • Potatoes 2
  • Onion 2
  • Garlic 1tsp
  • Ginger ½tsp
  • Bayleaf 2
  • Cumin seeds ½tsp
  • Turmeric powder ½tsp
  • Chilly powder 1tsp
  • Cumin powder 1tsp
  • Maggi masala-e-magic 2tsp
  • Coriander powder ½tsp
  • Garam masala powder 2tsp
  • Cashew nuts 8 to 10 pieces
  • Raisins 15 pieces
  • Kasuri methi 1tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Oil as required
  • Corn flour 2tsp

Instructions

  • Cut the jackfruit into pieces and boil.
  • Cut the potatoes into pieces and boil.
  • Chop ½ onion, fry in oil and add the boiled jackfruit and potatoes.
  • Then add salt, maggi masala-e magic, garam masala and mash it properly.
  • Take out the mixture in a bowl and after it cools down add corn flour and raisins to it.
  • Make small kofta balls and fry in oil.
  • For making the gravy heat oil in a kadhai. Add cumin seeds and bayleaf.
  • Then saute grated onion, ginger and garlic.
  • After it becomes succulent and brown add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chilly powder, maggi masala-e magic powder and salt.
  • Simmer and saute the masalas perfectly.
  • Add cashew nuts paste and slight water according to the consistency of the gravy.
  • Finish it with crushed Kasuri methi and garam masala powder.
  • Serve the gravy with jackfruit fried koftas.

Notes/Tips

1. Make sure to add the koftas just before serving. 2. Garnish with fresh cream and relish. 3. Serve with Naan, parathas and rotis. 4. Add magic to the dish with a dash of maggi masala-e magic.
