- Magic syrup : Boil the water , sugar , cardamom powder , saffron for 6-7 mins to make a syrup on medium high flame.
- Put the flame on lowest . Now add 1 tbsp ghee/butter , milk powder spoon by spoon and stir simultaneously in Magic syrup we prepared in step #1 . The consistency should be like a paste. Do not make it thick like a dough.
- keep stirring for a minute then put the flame off, take out mixture into a bowl and leave till it comes to room temperature.
- Now put on some ghee/Butter to your hands and start making peda shaped balls . Attach a clove per ball as shown in picture . Our Jhatpat Mithai is ready !!!
- Optional step is to colour the balls with food color.
