- Take a pan add grated coconut, jiggery , cardamom and fry for 5-6 minutes
- Now add assorted nuts and poppy seeds mix well and fry for another 2 minutes and then turn off the mixture and let it cool.
- In a bowl, add flour, ghee and salt. Make a dough by adding water to get a smooth texture. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal parts. Flatten the dough ball and add a tablespoon of stuffing in the center and cover the same by brushing the edges with milk and fold over the half seal to bring a D shape.
- Use a fork to crimp the edges and seal well.
- Heat oil on a medium flame and add 2-3 karanji’s at a time and let it cook until they are golden brown.
- Take them out on an absorbent paper
- Serve warm
