Ingredients

  • Little Millet - 1 Cup
  • Moong MOONG Dal (Splitted) - 2 Tbsp
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 TSP
  • Urad Dal - 1 TSP
  • Cumin seeds - 1 TSP
  • Ginger grated - 1 TSP
  • Green Chillies -3 (Splitted)
  • Cabbage - 1 Tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Carrot -1 ( grated)
  • Tomato -1(finely chopped)
  • Green Peas - 2 Tbsp
  • Curry Leaves - few
  • Salt - Required
  • Water - 3 Cups
  • Ghee - 1 Tsp

Instructions

  • . Dry roast little Millet & Moong Dal till nice aroma comes.
  • Add oil in a cooker and heat it. 3. Add mustard Seeds, cumin seeds & urad Dal. 4. After you hear the crackling sound of mustard seeds, add ginger, green chillies & curry leaves. 5. Add cabbage, carrot and tomato. 6. Mix it well and saute for 2 minutes in
  • 7.Add green peas, roasted millet moong Dal, salt and water. 8. Cover the cooker & allow it for 4 whistle.
  • 9.. After pressure has gone out, open the cooker. 10.Add ghee and mix it well. 11. Now Little Millet Kichadi is ready to serve with Coconut Chutney.
