Maggi Momos with garlic chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 Maggi Noodles packet 1 packet
  • Grated carrots, cabbage and capsicum 1/2 cup each
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Red chilli sauce 1 tsp
  • Soy sauce 1 tsp
  • Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Refined wheat flour 1 cup
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper As per taste

Instructions

  • Take refined wheat flour (Maida), add oil for moin , salt, water and knead the dough.
  • Cover the dough and leave for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  • Take 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes on medium flame.
  • Add grated carrots, cabbage and capsicum and cook for 2-3 minutes on high flame.
  • Add red chili sauce, soy sauce and give it a stir.
  • Now add water and one packet of maggi noodles and let it boil till its throughly cooked.
  • Let it cool.
  • Take small dough (lemon size), roll it in round shape and fill it with Maggi stuffing in the center and close the dough from both sides.
  • Repeat the same process and make similar shapes of momos.
  • Grease the steamer pan with some oil.
  • Arrange the momos in the pan and steam them for 8-10 minutes.
  • Once the momos seem transparent and batter doesn't stick to your hands, it means they are cooked.
  • Serve momos hot with garlic chutney.

Notes/Tips

Momos should be eaten immediately once they are cooked, or else it becomes hard.
