  • Frozen Peas or Fresh 2 Cups
  • Onion 2
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 2 Tbsp
  • Whole Spices 1 tbsp

Instructions

  • Thaw the frozen Peas for 60-70 Sec. Blend them coarsely in Food Processor or blender. Now Make a paste of Onion, GGC,All whole spices together in a blender. And Tomatoes too( After taking out Onion paste) Keep them aside.
  • Now take a pan( Preferably hard base) Add a tsp of oil, and add the coarse peas. Saute them for good 8-10 minutes untill its combined and not sticking the surface. Now take another pan, Add 2 tbsp oil , Saute Vadi and sliced potatoes for a minute.
  • Now Put 2 Bay leaves, saute the onion paste for 2-3 minutes, add pureed tomatoes . Add salt and all the Masala’s. Cook this for 10-2 minutes. Add the potatoes, Vadi and the Peas. 1/2 Cup Water and let it cook on slow flame for 6-8 min.

Notes/Tips

Make sure to Coarse Grind the peas. Use Punjabi or Moong Vadi
