- Soak wheat grains for around 10 hours. Wash off rice and rinse it properly. Pour some water in a vessel, put it on a flame and let it come to a boil then add rice to it and let it boil until it gets cooked properly. Later strain access water from rice.
- meanwhile, add wheat grains to a pressure cooker and add a cup of water with some salt to it and let it cook for 4 whistles and then put it on a low flame for 10 mins.
- For White Sauce: add 2 tsp of butter to a hot pan and put 2 tsp of all purpose flour and stir it well for 1 min. gradually start adding milk and whisk it Continuously. add some salt and grate cheese into the sauce and mix it well until it becomes smooth.
- take another pan and add 2 tsp of butter then add all the finely chopped vegetables and Sauté for 2 mins. add black pepper, salt, oregano, chilly flakes and tomato sauce an give it a good mix to all. once it is cooked, take off some vegies for garnishing.
- now add wheat grains and rice to Sauté vegetables and mix it well. Take out the rice in a serving bowl and pour white sauce over it and garnish with some vegetables and serve hot.
