- Wash all 3 dals and soak for 4 to 5 hrs.
- Drain the water completely and grind it well, add required water.
- Make a coarse and thick batter, adjust the consistency.
- Add salt ,green chilies, grated ginger and jeera to the batter. Whip well with fingers.
- Now heat the oil in a deep bottom kadai.
- Fill the medu vada batter in medu vada maker.
- When the oil is hot, fry vadas by pressing the vada maker machine.
- Deep fry the vadas till they are golden brown and crisp.
- Serve with chutney and sambhar.
- Take all the ingredients, add very little water and grind in a blender.
- Serve the chutney with vadas.
