Ingredients

  • Rice 1/2 cup
  • Sugar 1/4cup
  • Red carrot grated 1
  • Chopped dry Fruits almonds, cashew, coconut, 1/2 cup
  • Cloves, Cardamom 2,2
  • Saffron Pinch
  • Ghee 2tbs
  • Haldi 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  • Soak rice for 30 minutes and boil in 5 cups water with haldi. Rinse when slightly undercooked.
  • Heat ghee, add spices and dry fruits. Add rice and sugar along With saffron. Mix gently
  • Keep on low flame for 10 minutes , covered and flip the rice twice.
  • Turn the heat off and serve after 10 minutes.

Notes/Tips

Use the best quality basmati rice. Do not cook the rice fully in step 1 Don't overhandle the rice in kadai
