Ingredients

  • Potatoes boiled and mashed 1 cup
  • Chilli powder 2 teaspoons
  • Grated ginger 1/2 teaspoons
  • Chat masala 1/2 teaspoons
  • Amchur powder 1/2 teaspoons
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoons
  • Salt as per taste
  • Besan 1 cup
  • Hing 1/4 teaspoons
  • Baking soda 1/4 teaspoons
  • Green chillies, big slitted and deseeded 8 units
  • Oil for deep frying 300 mililitres
  • Tomato ketchup for serving as per taste

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients of potato stuffing and combine well.
  • Now stuff the potato masala into the chilies.
  • Prepare the batter by mixing besan n other ingredients in a separate bowl.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
  • Now dip the stuffed chilies into the besan batter and deep fry in the oil.
  • Fry till they become golden in colour on medium flame.
  • Drain excess oil on tissue paper.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce.
