Moong Daal Halwa Waffle Magic with Nestle Milkmaid

Ingredients

  • 150 gms moong daal
  • 100 ml ghee
  • 150 ml full Fat Milk
  • 200 gms milkmaid
  • 30 gramsdrysuits
  • few strands of saffron
  • 30 gms suji
  • 3 cardamon

Instructions

  • Soak 1 cup moong dal in enough water overnight of for 4 to 5 hours. Then, Drain and then grind the moong dal to a smooth paste with some water.
  • Take 100ML Ghee in a pan and heat for 2 mins. Add the ground moong dal. Keep on stirring the halwa on a low to medium flame.
  • Once the Daal is separated with ghee releasing from the sides, put off the gas and let it cool a bit.
  • Take 150 ml full fat whole milk, 200 ml Milkmaid and stir for 5 mins, keep staring till the halwa looks like a thick paste. Add 2-3 cardamom powder, 10-12 chopped unsalted pistachios and 1 tbsp golden raisins.
  • Heat the Waffle iron and Pour the halwa mixture on it and let it heat upto until the waffle looks golden brown.
  • Serve topped with milkmaid and ghee and some dry fruits. The waffles are crispy and warm until you’re ready to enjoy!
