  • Raw rice rava 1cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1tbsp
  • Grated coconut 2tbsp
  • Soaked bengal gram dal 2tbsp

Instructions

  • For making raw rice rava Wash and soak raw rice for few minutes.Drain the water completely and dry the rice grains on a kitchen towel until fully dry.Powder the rice in a mixer ,to a fine rava consistency.This is your rice rava.
  • For one cup rice rava Measure1 3/4 cup water in a kadai.Add water, salt and oil, Coconut,soaked bengal gram dal.Bring the water to a Slight boil. Now Pour rice rava,keep low flame and stir well until they are thoroughly mixed.No lumps should be Formed.
  • Cook thoroughly till water evaporates and the Raw rice is completely cooked.let the mix come to room temperature,make Patties of the cooked raw rice rava mix and arrange on a greased plate.
  • Steam the patties in a steamer for 20 minutes.Remove and serve hot muddakudumulu/raw rice rava patties with your favourite chutney.very tasty and healthy Recipe.

Notes/Tips

Keep medium flame while cooking,keep stirring constantly to avoid lumps.very healthy steamed food, tastes yummy Too.ideal cereal pulse combination.
