Ingredients

  • Mushroom 250gms
  • Onion 40gms
  • Cinnamon 1
  • Clove 2
  • Cardamom 2
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Curd 2tbsp
  • Basmati rice 1 1/2 cup
  • Coconut milk 1cup
  • Water 2 cups
  • Salt To taste
  • Ghee 1 tbsp
  • Groundnut oil 2 tbsp
  • Mint leaf 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaf 1/2 cup
  • Green chilli 2
  • Ginger 1 tbsp
  • Garlic 2 tbsp

Instructions

  • In a blender add mint leaves, corriander leaves, green chilli, ginger, garlic, add some water and make a fine paste.
  • Heat oil and ghee in a pressure cooker and add cinnamon, clove, cardamom and bay leaf
  • Saute onion till it turns brown. Then add ground paste and saute till the raw flavors disappears.
  • Add mushrooms along with curd, saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add coconut milk, water and salt as per your taste.
  • Allow the water to boil and add rice, carefully mix everything to combine without breaking the rice.
  • Simmer for 10 minutes and turn off the flame.
  • Allow the pressure to release and open the lid.
  • Mix it gently and serve it with onion raita.
