Ingredients

  • Oats 3 Cups
  • Water 4 Cups
  • Milk 2 Cups
  • Sunflower seeds 1/4 Cup
  • Ground Flaxseed 1 tbsp
  • Honey

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, stir together all the ingredients except honey. Cover the pan and place it over medium-high heat until the mixture starts to simmer.
  • Reduce the heat to low and continue to cook, stirring occasionally for about 60 seconds until the oatmeal is chewy but tender. Add honey.
  • Serve warm with toppings such as dried fruit, nuts or fresh berries.
