- Mix the vinegar in milk and set aside. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a 6inch square or round tin.
- Mix the flour, baking powder and baking soda and keep aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, add oil, sugar and condensed milk, orange zest and whisk for 5mins till everything is blended and becomes creamy. Add orange essence and mix.
- Add the milk, orange juice and mix everything so it becomes a homogeneous batter. Add the dry ingredients in parts and make a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into the greased cake tin and bake at 180°C for 35-40mins or till the toothpick inserted at center comes out clean.
- Cool down the cake completely and refrigerate it covering with cling wrap.
- For chocolate ganache, heat the cream in a pan till one boil comes and pour it on top of the chopped dark chocolate in a bowl. Add butter and keep stirring till all the chocolate is melted and smooth. Keep aside to cool and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
- For assembling the cake, Take out the cake from refrigerator and divide into 3 equal parts.
- Take the 1st layer apply 1tbsp of orange juice all over the cake and apply 2-3tbsp of chocolate ganache. Spread it evenly.
- Do the same with other 2 layers as well.
- Apply few tbsp of ganache on the sides of cake and spread it evenly till smooth. Refrigerate for 30mins.
- Once cake is cooled, apply few more tbsp of ganache on the top and spread evenly till sharp edges are formed. Decorate with cadbury shots and gems as per choice.
