  • Toor daal, cooked 1 cup
  • Tomatoes. peeled and chopped 1 units
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoons
  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoons
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoons
  • Coriander powder 1 teaspoons
  • Garam masala 1 teaspoons
  • Cumin 1 teaspoons
  • Hing 1 pinch
  • Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
  • Salt as per taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil ,cumin seeds let it splutter, add hing, garlic, ginger, chili paste, tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder n saute for a while.
  • Add boiled Tur dal, salt to taste ,garam masala and boil it for 10 min on medium heat.
  • Garnish dal with coriander leaves and serve with Paratha or rice.
