  • Boiled Raw Banana 3
  • Gram floor 150 gms
  • ginger Garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Red chilli Powder 1 tsp
  • Green chillies 2
  • Turmeric 2tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • oil 6 tbsp
  • curry leaves 10
  • asafoetida 1 pinch
  • chopped Coriender leaves 1 bowl

Instructions

  • For stuffing : 1. Take boiled raw banana in a bowl, peel and smash nicely. Add ginger garlic paste, chopped green chilli, salt, lemon juice and mix together.
  • in a small pan add 1 tsp oil make a tadka by adding mustard seeds, cummin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves. add this to the raw banana mixture.
  • For cover: Mix gram floor, red chili powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, ajwain, salt and water and make a medium thick batter.
  • make small flattened balls of raw banana mixture , dip it in the Gram floor batter and deep fry it in hot oil.
  • Serve these yummy hot Raw banana wada with bread slices, tamarind and mint chutney and sambar. Enjoy !!

Notes/Tips

Notes: 1. Heat oil properly before frying. 2. Keep the flame on medium while frying wadas.
