Ingredients

  • All purpose flour 2 cup
  • Refined oil 2 cup
  • Cumin seeds 1tsp
  • Coriander seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed Ginger 1tsp
  • Green chillies 1tsp
  • Raisans 1tsp
  • Cashew 1tsp
  • Big Boiled potato 6
  • Cumin powder 1tsp
  • Coriander powder 1tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1tsp
  • Salt As required
  • Kasori meethi leaves 1tsp
  • Coriander leaves 1tsp
  • Carom seeds 1tsp
  • Ghee 2tsp
  • Plraw peanuts Handful
  • Water 1-2 cup

Instructions

  • For filling - put a pan on medium flame and add 2 tsp oil in it.once the oil is hot enough, add cumin seeds and allow them to crackle.
  • Now add whole coriander seeds, Ginger and greens chillies.saute for one minute and then add chopped cashew and raisins,peanut Boiled and mashed potatoes, cumin seeds powder,coriander powder, garam masala powder, Red chili Powder.
  • Add kasori meethi, coriander leaves,salt to taste mix well for 2 minutes.your stuffing is ready.
  • Now to prepare dough - take a mixing Bowl combine all purpose flour along with carom seeds and salt.miz and then add ghee and start kneading by adding a Little water at a time ensure that you gradually add water.
  • Cover the dough with a damp muslin cloth and keep it for about 15 mins.
  • Once done roll out few small sized balls from the dough.flatten them further with help of your palm and then with rolling pin.give them a round shape and cut in half.
  • Dip your hands in water fold the edges of semi circle in order to give it a cone shape. Take a filling withthe help of a spoon and stuff in a cone.seal the ends properly
  • Then heat oil in a pan and depp fry the samosas untill they turn golden brown and crispy.serve with Tomato ketchup and green chutney . Enjoy is as atea time snacks.

Notes/Tips

Dough should be kneaded tight.
