- Gently wash the rice and soak in water for 30 Mins. Strain and keep aside. Heat 4-5 cups water in a pan. When it comes to a boil, add the soaked rice. Cook till the rice is done.
- Mix water, rose water, food color and saffron in a small bowl.
- Heat the ghee in a pan. Add almonds, cashew nuts, and raisins and fry till golden brown. Add cardamom, star anise and cloves and fry for a few seconds.
- Now add the rice and mix gently. Now add the sugar and food color and saffron mixture. And Again mix gently.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 10-12 minutes. Serve hot and Enjoy Shahi Jarda.
