Ingredients

  • For Kebab:
  • 1 Bowl soya chunks (soaked)
  • 1 onion finally chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1tsp green chilli paste
  • Degi mirch pd 1tsp
  • Amchoor 1tsp
  • Roasted dhaniya jeera pd. 1 1/2 tsp
  • Chat masala 1\2 tsp
  • Finally chopped green coriander
  • Roasted besan 2 tbsp
  • Few drops lemon juice
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for frying
  • For smoke: 1 piece coal and half tsp desi ghee

Instructions

  • Squeeze the soya chunks well and grind it into a fine keema, Add all the ingredients and mix it well.
  • Heat the oil and put a small portion of kebab mixture in it ,if it is not properly bound it will open in the oil. in that case mix more roasted besan into the mixture...
  • Now heat the coal properly and put it in a small bowl. Put that coal bowl into the kebab mixture bowl , pour desi ghee over it and cover it immediately.
  • Leave it like that for a couple of minutes . This process will give your kebab a smoky flavor.
  • Now give your kebab a proper shape / arrange them on a Seekh . Shallow fry them on medium flame.
  • Garnish them with green coriander and onion and serve hot with your choice of dip.
