Ingredients

  • Mappillai Samba Rice 400 grams
  • Idli Rice 400 grams
  • Urad Dal 100 grams
  • Red Poha 100 grams
  • Grated Coconut 50 grams
  • Leftover White Rice 50 grams
  • Salt As Per Requirement
  • Fenugreek 2 Teaspoon

Instructions

  • Soak both the rice and urad dal for 2 hours.
  • Grind the above ingredients with the soaked rice into a nice batter
  • Ferment them for 8 hours.
  • Now the batter is ready to make Appam.Add Coconut Oil over the Appam.
  • Spongy Appam is ready to serve!!
