- Soak both the rice and urad dal for 2 hours.
- Grind the above ingredients with the soaked rice into a nice batter
- Ferment them for 8 hours.
- Now the batter is ready to make Appam.Add Coconut Oil over the Appam.
- Spongy Appam is ready to serve!!
