Ingredients

  • Cashews 1/4 cup
  • Almonds 1/4 cup
  • Pistachios 1/4 cup
  • Dried rose petals 3 tbsp
  • Melon seeds 2 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds 2 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
  • Whole black pepper 15
  • Green cardamom 10
  • Cinnamon sticks 2 small
  • Saffron 2 pinch
  • Nutmeg powder 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  • Take all the ingredients to a pan and dry roast them for a few minutes on low flame. When the kitchen is full with the aroma of the nuts and spices just switch off the flame and keep them aside to cool down.
  • After cooled down completely, take all of them in a mixer and grind them to a coarse powder. The thandai powder is ready. Use it in making thandai or in any kinda dessert dishes!

Notes/Tips

You can keep it in an air-tight container for one month in refrigerator.
