Ingredients

  • Tofu 100 grams
  • Onions 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes 1/2 cup
  • Green chillies 1 units
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoons
  • Cumin 1 teaspoons
  • Ghee/oil 1 tablespoons
  • Coriander leaves 2 tablespoons
  • Haldi powder 1 teaspoons
  • Chilli powder 1 teaspoons
  • Garam masala 1 teaspoons
  • Salt as per taste

Instructions

  • Grate the tofu and keep aside.
  • In a pan, heat some oil or ghee and add cumin seeds until they sizzle.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry on slow flame until the raw smell disappears.
  • Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
  • Add finely chopped tomatoes with salt, haldi, chilli powder and stir fry until the masala emanates a fragrance.
  • Add the grated tofu and cook until mushy.
  • Top with fresh coriander leaves, garam masala and serve hot with paratha or toast.
