- Soak the Kidney beans(Rajma) overnight
- Remove water from the kidney beans nest morning. And wash thoroughly
- Add Rajma to pressure cook along with 4 cups of water
- Let it cook for around 3-4 whistles on low flame.
- Turn off the stove and let the pressure being released from the cooker
- Now check if the bean is tender. If not pressure cook again till tender
- Add oil to the kadai and fry turnips till slightly brown
- Add all the dry masalas and cook for 5 minutes
- Now add the turnip masala to the boiled rajma and pressure cook for one whistle
- Turn off the stove and let pressure being released from the cooker
- Dish out and relish with white rice or jeera rice
