  • Bajri 1 cup
  • Moong 1 cup
  • Rice 1 cup
  • Ghee 2 tbsp
  • Asafoetida 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Green fenugreek 1 cup
  • Peas 1/4 cup
  • Water To taste
  • Ginger paste 3 tbsp
  • Green chilli 3 tbsp
  • Salt To taste
  • Coriander 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Chopped Capsicum 1/4 cup
  • Cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Finely chopped Cabbage 1/4 cup
  • Finely chopped Tomato 1/4 cup
  • Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
  • Dhanajiru 1/2 tsp
  • Curd 2 cup

Instructions

  • Mix Bajri, Moong and Rice in a mixture and churn it to make its flour.
  • Take a pan add ghee, asafoetida and the mix flour and stir it for a while.
  • Now add turmeric powder to it.
  • Add Green fenugreek in it.
  • Add water to it than add peas and let it cook.
  • Add ginger and chilli paste , add salt and chopped coriander and keep stirring it till it thickens.
  • Now cover it and let it cook.
  • To make topping- Take a pan add oil to it and add cumin.
  • Add chopped capsicum.
  • Add chopped cabbage and tomatoes ( green or red or both )
  • Add turmeric powder, dhanajiru powder and red chilli powder.
  • Add sugar, lemon juice and salt and mix it well and the topping is ready.
  • Now take a clay pot or a bowl add the bhaidku khichdi put the topping salad on it.
  • Put curd on it.
  • Sprinkle coriander.
  • Keep it to bake for 5 10 minutes at 180 degree.
  • Ready to serve.
