Ingredients

  • Rice soaked for 20 minutes 1 cup
  • Green split green moong dal soaked for 20 minutes 1/2 cup
  • Peas 1/2 cup
  • Potato chop 2
  • Onion chop 2
  • Cauliflower 1/4cup
  • Corn kernals 1/4 cup
  • Oil 1 nd half tbspoon
  • Hing 1/8 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt As per taste
  • Red chili powder kashmiri 1 teaspoon
  • Turmuric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Garam masala 1/8 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon drops 1
  • Water 2 cup as required

Instructions

  • Take pressure cooker add oil
  • When oil hot add hing and cumin seeds.when cumin seeds splutter add onion and mix it.
  • When onions became transparent add peas,potato, cauliflower,corn kernels along with salt,red chilli powder, garam masala,turmuric powder and lemon drops .
  • Add water 2 cup water and mix it.and take 2 whistle.
  • After release all pressure cooker gas open the lid take out khichdi in a bowl to get set.
  • After 10 to 15 minutes take out in a plate and garnish with a dollop of curd.
  • Enjoy khichadi with curd nd mango pickle

Notes/Tips

1. Rice and moong dal should be soaked atleast 20 minutes. 2. Adjust water as per your required. 3. Don't overmix it.
