  • Soaked Raw White Rice 11/2 cup
  • Soaked Raw White Rice 1/2 cup
  • Soaked Raw White Rice A handful
  • Instant Yeast 1/2tsp
  • Salt: 1/2tsp
  • Sugar 3tbsp
  • Cardamon seeds 4-5
  • Jeera A pinch
  • Oil to grease

Instructions

  • Soak raw rice/pachari for about 2 hours.Put all the ingredients and blend it smoothly. Batter should be thick.
  • Ferment for 2 hrs. Divide the batter into 3 parts. Add 1 cup watermelon juice to the 1st batter. Add 3tbsp of pandan leaves juice to 2nd batter.
  • Ppour green batter into a greased bundt cake mould. Then white batter. Finally pink color batter.
  • Steam it for 20 mts. After cooling demould it. Now steamed rice cake is ready to serve

Notes/Tips

Fermentation should be at least 2 hrs.
